What happened
Today is the final day of the filing window that opened on 21 October. The JEC calendar schedules publication of submitted candidacies for 28 October and proclaimed candidates for 3 November.
This 26 October review takes place before the midnight deadline. It does not establish that every announced list has been filed. The deadline for notifying coalitions was 16 October, a separate earlier procedure.
