What happened

RTVE and Europa Press report that the court requires the names from Justice and Foreign Affairs, warning of fines for non-compliance. The order concerns the group covered by the interim suspension linked to the Democratic Memory Act.

The deadline is 15:00 on 28 October. Félix Bolaños says Justice sent the Electoral Register Office the information available in the digital civil register on 15 October; José Manuel Albares is also addressed by the order.

Votuo analysis

The order does not lift the suspension or exclude the entire CERA register. The first mailing on 24–30 October does not by itself establish affected recipients’ eligibility to vote.

The 28 October deadline requires ministries to provide information to the court and electoral authorities. It is not a new deadline for individual voters to cast their ballots. The separate voting deadlines are set out in the linked official electoral calendar.
