Ara MÉS agrees to run with Sumar and IU as Ara MÉS–Front Ampli

What happened
The assembly backs the announced Balearic agreement with 89% support. Podemos joining this Congress candidacy is not confirmed.
Ara MÉS, comprising MÉS per Mallorca, Més per Menorca and Ara Eivissa, endorsed the agreement with Movimiento Sumar and Izquierda Unida. Europa Press reports on 16 October on the previous day’s decision and the Ara MÉS–Front Ampli name for the 29 November election.
The 89% figure concerns an Ara MÉS assembly vote, not an election poll. Contacts with Podemos continued in the reviewed reporting; Senate negotiations for particular islands do not establish its inclusion in the Congress list.

Votuo analysis
The agreement settles the previously unresolved Balearic arrangement. MÉS per Mallorca retains its own identity within Ara MÉS: an election pact does not automatically make its previous programme every partner’s programme.
Announcement and internal ratification alone do not establish electoral registration or proclaimed lists. The official candidate-submission period is 21–26 October; Congress and Senate arrangements must be checked separately.

How to read this update
We record the announcement as of its date. A political decision or announced candidate is distinct from electoral registration and proclamation.
