How the map is built
The horizontal coordinate is lrecon (0 left, 10 right). Self-government is 10 − regions: 10 means greater support for decentralisation. The social alternative uses galtan: 0 liberal and 10 traditional/authoritarian. These are expert means about 2024, not measurements of the 2026 campaign. Label lines do not move the coordinates. Chart distance is not used to calculate electoral affinity.
