Method and limits

Topics reflect concerns documented by CIS and their relevance to public decisions. The reference is the April 2026 barometer, we do not claim it is the latest barometer. Topics include housing, incomes, employment, healthcare, migration, climate and a specific transfer to Navarre, which you can skip.

CIS · April 2026

Explicit support is coded as 5 and opposition as 1; this does not measure party intensity. No answers are inferred from ideology or rejection of a whole package. Similarity = 1 − distance/4, weighted only by the importance you assign. Percentages require at least 4 answers, 3 known positions and 60% weighted coverage. Gaps do not count as neutral.

The latest explicitly dated publication is used. Undated sources show first-observed dates; unresolved contradictions remain unscored. Incomplete coverage prevents comparing parties using a single number.
