What happened

The proposed Congress list then places Juan Sergio Redondo, Pepa Millán and Cristian Toro. These are party-announced leading places, subject to the electoral process.

On 19 October, Europa Press reports Vox’s confirmation that Cristian Toro will take fifth place on its Madrid list. The same report identifies Santiago Abascal as lead candidate and Montse Lluis in second place.

Juan Sergio Redondo is listed third and Pepa Millán fourth. The announcement establishes the proposed order of the first five places, but does not prove that a complete list has been submitted to the provincial electoral board or proclaimed.

Votuo analysis

List order matters in a closed-list Congress election, although it does not guarantee seats. This announcement does not turn separate Senate talks with PP into a Congress agreement or itself alter Vox’s policies.

We record the announcement as of its date. A political decision or announced candidate is distinct from electoral registration and proclamation.
