What happened

The judgment clears defendants in the accounting case over referendum and external-action spending. An appeal is available.

Case B-180/2021 concerns spending in 2011–2017. Applying Organic Law 1/2024, the court orders the precautionary measures lifted.

The official notice distinguishes the appealable judgment from a separate procedural order with no appeal. This concerns accounting liability; criminal cases follow their own proceedings.

Votuo analysis

Amnesty is already a law applied by courts. The quiz asks whether it should remain in force, without asking users to decide an individual judgment.

Political support for the law, its scope and each person’s procedural position are separate questions. The outcome of one case cannot establish the outcome of every other proceeding.
