What happened

PP’s leader signs a political commitment ahead of his election manifesto. He reiterates plans for at least one million homes and annual inflation-linked pension increases.

Feijóo presented and signed the document in Madrid on 19 October. PP’s release and the full speech set out commitments on housing, public services, taxation and institutions.

He proposes more land and less bureaucracy for housing, better conditions for doctors and greater judicial independence. The speech distinguishes this personal commitment from the election manifesto the party says it will publish.

Votuo analysis

Delivery depends on securing support to govern and on legislation and funding. The explicit CPI commitment corroborates PP’s already documented pension position; promising more doctors does not specify whether privatised services would return to public management.
