What happened

Pedro Sánchez (PSOE), Alberto Núñez Feijóo (PP), Santiago Abascal (Vox) and Ada Colau (Frente Amplio) have accepted invitations to The Wild Project. These will be separate recorded conversations, rather than a four-way debate.

Sánchez accepted on 23 October, following Feijóo, Abascal and Colau. Wild then confirmed all four guests. Their acceptance does not establish that any of the interviews have already been recorded.

The announced format is a 50–90-minute conversation with each guest, including shared questions and segments. Campaign teams will not receive questions or topics beforehand. Wild says the recordings will be released in full, without cuts or subsequent removal of passages at candidates’ request.

Two independent journalists will work off camera to check figures and flag questions or corrections to the host. These are the organiser’s stated conditions, to be agreed before recording; they are not findings from interviews that viewers have already seen.

All four episodes are scheduled for Friday 13 November, the first official campaign day, one hour apart. The announced order follows increasing parliamentary representation: Colau, Abascal, Sánchez and Feijóo. As of this 24 October review, the first release time and recording dates have not been announced.

Watch through The Wild Project’s official YouTube channel, linked in this article’s sources. The announced date concerns video publication, not live interviews. A simultaneous release schedule on other audio platforms has not been confirmed for this election special.

Votuo analysis

Shared questions could make answers easier to compare, while each conversation will still develop differently. The announced checking team does not automatically validate everything a guest says: proposals and figures should still be checked against original documents and programmes.
