What happened

Pueyo focuses the CHA–Frente Amplio Aragón proposal on Zaragoza and Huesca. IU calls the Teruel withdrawal unilateral and wants to retain the candidacy; the Senate agreement is separate.

On 21 October, Jorge Pueyo announced on CHA’s behalf that the coalition would not contest Teruel’s Congress seats to avoid splitting the vote, focusing instead on Zaragoza and Upper Aragon. Its announcement retains Senate participation in Teruel.

IU Aragón rejected the decision the same day. Marta Abengochea said IU had already selected candidates on 13 October and defended standing in all three provinces. The reports do not establish an agreed resolution or a proclaimed list.

Votuo analysis

The dispute concerns one province and Congress. It does not mean IU has agreed to withdraw or that CHA or Frente Amplio has left the election nationwide. Comparison-tool territorial references remain provisional until verified lists are available.
