Overview

Aliança Catalana is a far-right Catalan independence party founded in Ripoll in 2020 and led by Sílvia Orriols. It advocates independence, restrictive immigration policies, the Catalan language and a market economy. It holds two seats in the Catalan Parliament following the 2024 election and governs Ripoll. In 2026 it is preparing local candidates for 2027 and has ruled out contesting the 29 November general election.
